As the University of Sioux Falls class of 2019 received its diplomas this month, the school’s president, Brett Bradfield, knows each person could migrate out of his or her field seven or eight times during the career ahead.
Preparing students for that unpredictable future means continually honing the education provided and increasingly working closely with industry to connect and equip students for the workplace.
The Sioux Falls Development Foundation has started to play a little matchmaker – pairing students and their colleges with businesses interested in giving them a look inside the workplace.
The talent tours are facilitated the Development Foundation to introduce students to opportunities in growing industries such as finance, health care and advanced manufacturing.
WIN in Workforce Group is values-based community effort whose mission is to champion career transformation within the workforce. Our goal is to exchange best practices within our cradle to career initiatives for the betterment of all.
