Unconscious Bias: Self-Awareness Leads to Organizational Awareness

In an effort to increase our own and other’s diversity awareness, it is crucial to learn about unconscious bias and how this shows up in hiring practices, policy implementation and career pathways. This workshop will introduce participants to the unconscious and unintentional barriers in our organizations that support bias and, most importantly, how we can make changes that have long-term impact in our workplace culture.

Participants will be introduced to:

• Vocabulary and definitions around unconscious bias

• The impact of unconscious bias in the workplace
