Is Your Sioux Falls Business Looking to Hire Students in Computer Science/IT, Construction, Healthcare or Precision Mechanics/Manufacturing?

About this Event

Calling all Sioux Falls businesses hiring for careers in advanced manufacturing, computer science, general construction, healthcare, information technology, and precision mechanics! You're invited to Talent Draft Day, a one-day event, held at the Washington Pavilion on October 17, 2019, that's designed to call together and to foster relationships between Sioux Falls area businesses and students pursuing technical degrees or high-needs careers in and around the Sioux Falls region.

Spread out over three-hour blocks, talented students from Southeast Technical Institute, Lake Area Technical Institute, Mitchell Technical Institute, and area high schools will rotate through three sessions of content, all of which are focused on facilitating relationships between students and businesses.

Participating businesses and talented students will:

  • Speed Networking 1:1 - Network and connect to discuss part-time jobs, internships, job shadows, and full-time careers, all while enjoying food, beverages, and door prizes;
  • Training Camps - Students will offer employers a glimpse into the innovative, cutting-edge training that shapes their career-based education;
  • You're Drafted! - Think3D Solutions will facilitate "Your First Job," a capstone session in professional development.

Take advantage of the opportunity to connect technically-skilled students with your business to grow and expand your workforce tomorrow by attending Talent Draft Day!
